The Salt Marsh Kin-Making Collective
The Salt Marsh Kin-Making Collective is a collaborative collective of ten womxn-identifying and nonbinary youth. Wielding the creative and exploratory power of writing, with the framework of ecofeminism, this collective aims to make kin with the multispecies community in the Salish Sea bioregion, on unceded Coast Salish territory.

Kin-Making
Making-kin means getting to know the other-than-human people bound to earth, and understanding ourselves as a part of complex and interconnected assemblages of human and more-than-human. It is learning many names and many histories. It is taking response-ability for what is other-than-human, and participating in the maintenance of reciprocal relationships with the living earth.
